子どものなりたい職業ランキング！アメリカと日本のTOP10。人気はやっぱりこれ！？

子供の頃、誰もがイヤになるほど聞かれた質問の1つが「大人になったら何になりたいの？」だろう。親に聞かれ、親戚に聞かれ、卒業文集で書かされ、アンケートで書かされ……。そんな時代がありました。

それはさておき、海外の子供たちは一体どんな夢を持っているのだろうか？　日本の子供たちの夢は何かと目にする機会は多いが、海外となるとピンと来ない人も多いはず。そこで今回はアメリカの子供たちの「将来就きたい職業トップ10」を紹介したい。結果を見てみると……やっぱり1位はアレか！

・1歳～10歳までを対象にアンケート
ランキングは、Webサイト「Fatherly.com」が発表したもので、対象となったのは1歳～10歳までのアメリカの子供たち500人。調査はシンプルに「大人になったら何になりたいの？」と質問しただけである。そしてその結果は……以下の通りだ。

【アメリカの子供たちが「将来就きたい職業」トップ10】

1位：プロのスポーツ選手
2位：医師
3位：分からない
4位：教師
5位：獣医師
6位：消防士
7位：科学者
8位：宇宙飛行士
9位：エンジニア
10位：警察官
以上である。ちなみに、男の子・女の子別のトップ5はと言うと……

【男の子のなりたい職業トップ5】
1位：プロのスポーツ選手
2位：分からない
3位：消防士
4位：エンジニア
5位：宇宙飛行士

【女の子のなりたい職業トップ5】
1位：医師
2位：教師
3位：分からない
4位：科学者
5位：シェフ / パン屋

……以上の結果となった。なるほど、プロのスポーツ選手が人気なのは、やはりどこの国でも同じらしい。そして日本と同様、医師や宇宙飛行士などに憧れている子供たちは、アメリカでも少なくないようだ。
