まさに打ち上げロケット！「半沢直樹」を超えへ、“勝ちドラマ”の法則に乗るＴＢＳ「下町ロケット」。その要因は？

東京・赤坂のＴＢＳには、久しぶりに高視聴率の張り紙が躍っている。

「日曜劇場『下町ロケット』の視聴率が、初回より２回目が上昇する“勝ちドラマ”の法則に乗り順調だからです。ＴＢＳの１階ロビーには高視聴率の紙が張ってあります。なかなか１０％を超える番組が少ない。８％程度でも、高視聴率の張り紙があって、悲しいものがありましたけど、久しぶりの朗報です」とベテラン放送記者。

同社社長も、定例会見でヒットドラマ「半沢直樹」を超えてほしいと願ったほどだ。
現在までの結果は、初回の16.1％、第2話の視聴率は17.8％を記録と願いに向かって一直進である。
今回は、その勝ちドラマ”の法則の理由を掘り下げてみたいと思う。

前評判の高さ

池井戸潤の同名小説が原作の同作には阿部寛のほか、土屋太鳳、吉川晃司ら豪華キャストが集結。制作を『半沢直樹』のスタッフが手がけていることもあり、前評判は高かったことも要因の一つだと思われます。

阿部寛の入念な下調べが功を制している？

特に阿部寛は、「原作者の池井戸潤さんの作品をたくさん読んだうえに、クランクイン1か月前くらいに撮影現場の工場に下見に来て、その工場の社長や取締役に熱心に話を聞いていましたよ」(テレビ局関係者)

といったこともあると言われている。

なかでも苦戦しているのが、父親としての演技らしく、

「高校生という、年ごろの娘を持つ親の心情をどう表現したらいいのか、ということから緊張されているみたいです。娘役の土屋太鳳さんとは、撮影の合間、笑顔で話しているのに、本番になると声のトーンが変わっちゃったりしてNGを出したり。スタッフも“いつもの阿部さんじゃないなぁ”と首をかしげています」(芸能プロ関係者)

といったたゆまぬ努力も、更なる要因といえよう。

女性層からの支持

1話目の、ドラマバリューは、100ポイント中91ポイント。5項目の内訳（20ポイント満点）は、視聴量18、主演19、主演以外17、内容18、話題性19。男女比は43：57で、女性が多かった。
